The fetishization of violence is something we need to get a grip on. You don’t want war. Idc your political beliefs. You don’t. Your friends and family members will suffer and die. It isn’t glorious IRL. We have a responsibility to police this rhetoric in our communities.

Yesterday was the anniversary of the end of the Battle of Najaf (2004) when American criminals entered the holy city and killed hundreds to thousands of Iraqis.
A ceasefire made the city a demilitarized zone.
Our martyrs were beautiful and their faces shined full of light.
