Vietnam is the only Communist country to officially abolish all ethnic minority regions which it did in 1976. It lied to ethnic minorities at the beginning & then converted all of them to regular provinces.

I would like to hear this. I live in Vietnam, in many ways a less effective China, but in no visible ways effective at Communism. At all. These assertions boggle my mind.

This Shavite Hindu temple was also bombed by the Japanese and Kinhs. Now that the commie Kinh government has taken over it, they have turned it into a cash cow and won't let Hindus perform the rituals of the temple properly.

In 1969, the United States destroyed large swathes of the 1600 year old Mỹ Sơn temple complex in an air raid in Quảng Nam province, Viet Nam, where craters can still be found today. The United States has shown again and again it is not interested in protecting cultural heritage
