Sati as a practice was was rare even in ancient India as evident by British census records and accounts. Also, I'm pretty certain it's not even condoned by scriptures. I believe it has some origins in some nomadic immigrant groups from Central Asia during old times.

In African societies, twerking is a popular dance form and part of their culture. Just a like 7 year old in India can do Bharatnatyam, a 7 year old in Africa can also twerk before the whole family. If you do not understand societies, then keep your ignorant mouth shut.

This reminds me of the Hindu temples of the Philippines which were made with wood, so they needed constant renovations. When the renovations stopped, the wood rot away. Meanwhile, stone temples in Bali and Java are still existing.

Isn't that exactly what I'm saying? Japan spends less of their GDP than India on its military because it doesn't have any dire need. This leaves them with more capital to spend on things like HRD Share of GDP (PPP) spent on research Japan 3.14% China 2.19% US 2.74% India 0.85%

Japan was forced to cut down its military after WW2, so they spent that money on innovation. They also got some financial aid from US too. India can't afford to do the same with hostile neighbours.
