Not really related, but what’s with so many chinese learning Korean? Like >50% of young Chinese I’ve met are learning Korean.

It is not just Indian soldiers, the VJ celebrations never even mention China which fought Japan alone since 1937, 4 years before Japan declared war on US and Britain during WW2. In this time, China held up over 20% of all Japanese Imperial forces, and lost 20m Chinese lives.
