Every religion has its specific codes that must be followed.

You can keep your secularism out of the jurisdiction of religious sites.
No religion permits followers of other religions in their sacred places. Even Zoroastrian sites prohibit non-Zoros from entry.
Hindu scriptures clearly talk about prohibition on entry of mlecchas.
