SNL Reminds Us: "You Could've Had A Bad Bitch!"

"You could've had a bad bitch." Exclamation point, or matter-of-fact-like with a period? No, like a statement. Like. A. Boss! Every once in awhile SNL nails it, and on this night, they straight up crushed it!

Not that I pretend to know everything about dropout candidate Kamala Harris. Therein lies the problem, many of us don't. But last night Maya Rudolph reminded us all that, "We could've had a bad bitch." Essentially, Kamala Harris interrupted the debate by saying, "Here's what you could've had. But because of money, and other reasons, you'll never know. So, peace out!"

Now I'm thinking, shit. What did we do? Or not do?

“Oh, this is a debate? Honestly, I had no idea. I was just in the neighborhood. But while I’m here, I just want to show you how good you could have had it, America,” she said. “You could have had a bad bitch.”

As “Saturday Night Live” interpreted the sixth democratic debate, and Maya Rudolph dropped the line of the year, I felt even more confused. "I should know these candidates better," I thought. "Did we lose a bad bitch?" Maybe we need a bad bitch to kick the orange man's ass?

Reminded me of that other bad bitch Trina when she took the rap world by storm, in the aptly titled song, "Bad Bitch." She also said, "See ya," to the hangers-on who couldn't make up their minds, and then became a huge star in her own right.

-"I would give you my number so you can have this/But I don't need to stop your crank calls and the madness."-Trina

America, what do you want? Who do you want? Y'all better figure it out, and quick!
