Ain Karem عين كارم is a town in the southwest of Jerusalem, traditions tell that St.John the Baptist was born in it. It had a population of 670 Christians in 1945 & all were expelled to Jordan by zionists. Due to their importance,churches were not destroyed, now used by tourists.
Iqrit was a Palestinian town in the upper Galilee. It got ethnic cleansed in 1948. In response to a plea from the villagers, the Supreme Court ruled that they allowed to return to their homes, but the IDF responsed & destroyed the village on Christmas eve, 1951. The church was -

A group of Palestinian volunteers from ain al helwi were kicked out of a neighbourhood in Beirut by some residents who didn't want Palestinians to help them. I will not mention the neighbourhood's name bc it will only add fuel to the fire. But let me just say, it was expected.
