For either questioning the US govt's lies, narratives pushed by MSM, for not only saying anything in favor of China but even for not outright speaking out against China/other communist countries. Every outspoken communist artist I know in America is dealing with this problem.

Social media really is just the 2020 Mccarthyist Hollywood blacklist. I'm seeing it all over again, and it's not only celebrities, it extends to regular, low-income artists as well. A lot of communist artists TODAY are being blacklisted from art and entertainment industries

I really cannot defend any men, but the notion that dating white men is somehow more liberating than men of colour is a colonial myth you have been fed. The reality is there is nothing liberating in dating any cis man but whiteness is inherently violent.

Cis malehood is a threat to women and non-men of colour. But the myth that men of colour are more violent, and more misogynistic is a myth. It’s a colonial lie that was used to justify portraying men of colour as savages, barbaric, hyper sexual, threatening or even effeminate.

And I've noticed that being upfront about propaganda actually convinces Americans to be more open to reading non-Western news than just saying "oh but it isn't propaganda" (which I used to think was more convincing, but it's not). Not all propaganda is made the same/equally bad.

When I provide Americans with non-Western sources, they always ask "how do I know this isn't propaganda?" and I used to make excuses. Now I straight up tell them that all media is propaganda, so the question isn't "is it propaganda?", but rather "whose interests does it serve?"
