Good point. It will be difficult for students that have to migrate from one state to another in the midst of their education. Students of state boards already face difficulty who learn entirely in only the state language.

Angor Wat was ALWAYS Buddhist but in the 17-18th cent or so Buddhism had been wiped out mostly by Hindus & less so by Muslims. So they identified Avalokiteshwara as Vishnu (though He is older). No Hindu statue was destroyed or disfigured unlike what Hindus did to Buddha statues.
