Alison Cook’s Curbside Chronicles: Asia Market Thai Lao Food brings the heat

Wheee-ew!

Steam was shooting from my ears, and I even cried a tear or two when I got my takeout home from Asia Market Thai Lao Food and began tasting. I had ordered almost every dish “medium,” thinking that was a sensible strategy when trying out a Thai place for the first time. I certainly didn’t want to disgrace myself by ordering “mild.” And I figured “hot,” “Thai hot” and “10,000” peppers should wait until I got the lay of the land.
