Not really. Assam's rising share of Muslims owes largely to British era importation of Bengali Muslims in Lower Assam which continued even after independence.
Kerala was 17.5% Muslim even in 1901. The share of Muslims started rising only from around 1971 again.

North Macedonia was 33.33% Muslim as per the 2002 census and in the -4 age group, 46.5% were Muslims.
By 2050, the country will definitely have a Muslim majority even the Muslims have sub-replacement level fertility. The TFR of the Slavs is dangerously low.

The population of Northern Cyprus seems to be halfway divided between indigenous Turkish Cypriots and Turkish settlers from Turkey.
47.6% NC, 44.9% Turkey.

The reason a population exchange didn't happen in East India was Nehru.
The reason Muslims in Mewat didn't leave for Pakistan is Gandhi, who begged them to stay back.
If it weren't for these two people, share of Muslims would've been much lower in India today.

Telangana has been under Muslim rule longer than Kerala yet has a lower share of Muslims.

Leading Bangladeshi intellectuals including diplomats have been making a case for "Lebensraum" - since Bangladeshi has too much population it is only natural for some of it to overflow into India's North East.
Like I said, they are more dangerous than Pakistan.

Before Po Rome's death, Champa still had Nha Trang and the Champa border with Vietnam was at Ca pass.. Po Rome was killed by Kinh in Phu Yen in 1651 after Cham and Kinh started fighting each other. After his death, the Kinh under the Nguyen lords captured Phu Yen and Nha Trang
