Thap Po Sha Nu, ancient Cham temple, Phan Thiet A Binh Thuan Cham temple that was desecrated & robbed by Kinh. Communist Kinh (Vietnamese) destroying ancient Hindu temples like these in Vietnam is commonplace. They also take pride in demolishing them.

Champa lost the entire Khánh Hòa province after Po Rome was murdered by Kinh

and everything north of the Phan Rang river after defeating Po Rome's half brother Po Nraup. Nha Trang was the last major seaport the Chams held.

Before Po Rome's death, Champa still had Nha Trang and the Champa border with Vietnam was at Ca pass.. Po Rome was killed by Kinh in Phu Yen in 1651 after Cham and Kinh started fighting each other. After his death, the Kinh under the Nguyen lords captured Phu Yen and Nha Trang

Then the king cut the tree down after his soldiers couldn't and the Kinh under the Nguyen lords attacked and cut Po Rome to pieces. Po Rome's Khmer wife had to beg for his incisors.

Word of advice. Don't destroy objects sacred to your family just because your spouse doesn't like it. You may end up becoming the very reason for destruction of your own lineage.

Another princess from the same family, Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Khoa married Cham king Po Rome (Churu by ethnicity) and got him to cut down the sacred Kraik tree. After the sacred plant was cut down, great disaster struck Champa and it fell into an irreparable state of decline.

Btw, this was the same family that force fed Hindus beef later and continued demolishing Hindu temples.

Kinh princess, Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Vạn married Khmer King Chey Chettha II and she got him to let Kinh people to establish settlements in Prey Nokor - what later became Saigion in Kampuchea Krom. This was when Kinh settlers started infiltrating Khmer Krom regions.

Kinhs are land grabbers. The "March towards South" is literally the Southeast Asian equivalent of Manifest Destiny. They colonize land, do genocides and then cry victims. Vietnam is a country built on genocide, rape, colonization, racism, etc.
