The influence of IE on Chinese is not 'fringe theory'.The same 'mainstream linguists' refuse to accept that a Centum language exists in India, that Iranian dialects existed in Punjab , that Vedic texts are crucial for IE history etc. Witzelian acceptance is no criterion of truth. twitter.com/porbotialora/s…

Both of them were recognized by the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Yuan dynasty recognized the northern one Hung is the Cantonese pronunciation of Kong The northern Kongs kept a family genealogy at Qufu where they registered all real Kongs to stop people from impersonating them.

The Kong clan split into north and south branches when northern and southern China was divided between the Jin and Song. The Jurchen Wanyan emperors recognized one branch of the Kong clan in the north and the Song recognized another Kong clan branch in the south.

Did you know? According to Tsung Chang's research, proto-Chinese language was heavily influenced by Indo-European- Almost 2/3rd of basic Chinese vocabulary was IE loanwords! Was the 'Yellow emperor'(~2400 BCE), father of Chinese culture & language a nomadic invader from India?

The Dzungars also deported some Khakas (Yenisei Kyrgyz) to Dzungaria, then the Qing deported them from Dzungaria to Heilongjiang where they are called Fuyu Kyrgyz

The Yenisei Kyrgyz Khagan during the Tang dynasty claimed to be descended from Li Ling so he claimed to be from the same Li clan as the Tang dynasty royal family and his name was entered into the register of the imperial clan in the Tang capital Chang'an.
