Since no sane black Yemeni supports Houthis, Houthis took it upon themselves to raise signs that roughly say "Descendants of Bilal For Abdulmalik al-Houthi". This is like the Yemeni version of MAGA supporters wearing "Blacks For Trump" shirt.

It's annoying when people associate me with Abdel Fattah Ismail and Salim Rubai because I use them as my profile pictures frequently, don't associate a nobody like me to great revolutionaries like them. No Yemeni can ever be compared to these two.

Qahtan al-Shaabi opposed the merge while he was in Cairo, and so Gamal Abdul Nassir put him under house arrest, but the NLF eventually emerged victorious, after its second conference, the faction was led by the leftwing Abdel Fattah Ismail, Ali Antar, Saleh Muslih and Ali Shayi'.

Little Ben, Aden, South Yemen. Little Ben was a clock tower that was built as a miniature of the Big Ben clock tower by the British occupation in 1894, it was abandoned by Yemenis since the British were booted out of the country in 1967, and shelled in the 1986 PDRY civil war.

After the 1986 PDRY civil war, Yemen's Saudi-backed president, Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi, who fled to the YAR with Ali Nassir, was sentenced to death for high treason by the ruling Yemeni Socialist Party of Southern Yemen. The capital punishment was execution by a firing squad.
