Once you get used to the site its pretty easy to understand.
You search a game and then there are almost always 2 threads about it. One is where people talk about the game and one is where you can download it.
On the one where you can download it there is always a copy and paste from all the text from the steam page but at the end there are always links (depending on the game either 1 or 2) where you can download the game. The other users commenting always provide updated versions of the game but the moderator team updates the first 2 links and that way you dont have to scroll trough all the comments

Same. I mostly use it for searching game updates though. The threads for individual games always have more than 20 pages, and it's a nightmare trying to find something, between dozens of posts unrelated to what I'm searching for. But if I find something, it always has some value.

Makes it seem as if steam is running it. Also allows some games to be played in local multiplayer.
Doesn't the default installer of JDownloader2 contain adware?

Now THIS is a good updated Mega Thread, good works moderators, this is what I want to see in this subreddit
I'm currently using IDM for downloading but I've seen JDownloader2 recommended many times for it's versatility. I've tried using it and it is indeed very powerful but the deal breaker for me is the lack of real browser integration which means sometimes, links are not getting intercepted properly. The official browser extension MyJDownloader usually works if you can find the direct link to the file or copy&paste the link but I've always felt that IDM is actually better in that regard because it's seamless.
IDM seems to be a free trial downloader. Do you know if there is another alternative that is completely free and not so complicated like JDownloader?

You're bang on! A repack is heavily compressed, so people with limited Internet speed / Internet cap can download big games at a fraction of the size.
Although this is the basic purpose, they are also a reliable source for games.

Well I use igg games as the last resort. When I don't find a game I probably find it there and I had no virus. Well, what do I know. I'm just a 15 yr old that used to pirate nfs mw 2005 from softonic when I was 11. Oh well.
I'm really curious about nosteam. I pirated from there and got no malware. Hmm.
And ocean of games. Well, downloaded a few nfs from there no problem. I don't know about the less popular games tho.
All in all I say this are good resources for pirating without getting virused. The r/piracy community have something like this too. If someone is reading this, make sure to read that too. I think you'll find something useful there.
From my experience, nosteam just has a lot of ads, adblocker recommended and ocean of games has malware on some smaller games, usually just adware of just some bitminer.

I've been thinking about that too. You just gotta have an adblocker while using their site. And if you do the right download/install steps, the games work just fine.

Hey there ya'll I'm not sure if this is helpful, but OVAgames have been very wonky for me, lots of ad redirects and potential adware danger. Truthfully I've only been using Skidrowreloaded . com and although it's in the list for sites to never use, that's the only site that's never given me issues; I use adblock and pop up blocker extensions on top of chrome's own. But I thought I'd give my two cents because OVAgames is in the trusted list and it's giving me a lot of problems.

I downloaded a lot of games from steamunlocked so I'd say it's safe.Windows Defender did detect something once but I think it was just a false alarm since WD does tend to remove files from pirated games/apps thinking they're viruses
I can say it is safe too.. I have downloaded tons of games there. I have no problems with their files on my windows

Direct Download. You don't need a VPN for direct downloading.

I'd put this additional info in short form next to JDownloader. A lot of downloads are RAR5-packed and won't extract out-of-the-box due to outdated 7zipjbind libraries.
http://sevenzipjbind.sourceforge.net/ download it, put it in JDownloader's /libs directory (make sure to match the old files' filenames), and then, after a program restart, JDownloader can finally extract RAR5 archives. Plus I think extraction tools should always stay on the latest version to prevent security breaches.

Ads, turn off java script and it seems okay, I installed stuff from there, but you have to turn off java script to prevent the insane amount of ads from appearing.

So I have a couple questions:
What is "Direct Downloading Software" and what does it do? Is that like a safer client to use when downloading a game directly say from Google Drive or cs.rin.ru? What are the benefits of using a direct downloading software?
Is there a tutorial on how to crack your own games?
Am new to this so I'm not that experienced with pirating PC software, however, this Mega thread has amazing advice and helped a lot, so thanks for setting me on the right track!
The Direct Downloading software is significantly more helpful, since you have more control over your downloads than if you used a browser.
You can have a queue of downloads, so the next file automatically begins downloading when the current one is done.
You can also have simultaneous downloads, so you can download more than 1 file at once.
JDownloader2 also supports auto extraction of files, so once all your rar parts have downloaded, the files automatically get extracted (saving you yet another step!).
Is there a tutorial on how to crack your own games?
If you mean a step by step guide to pirating a game, there is a guide in the Common Question and Answer thread which you might like.
If you mean to make your own crack, you can use clean files for games you own and apply a Steam emulator (many are mentioned in the above thread). I recommend the Goldberg steam emulator since it comes with a "how to" guide.

I've been using IGG since like 2017, what the sort of DRM you guys mentioned? now i feel kinda unsafe downloading from there.
They changed the game EXE file and included an IGGGames.dll file which if you deleted their shortcuts to the website, you would get a prompt saying "This game was downloaded from IGG Games".
I have used uTorrent until now and installed two games with it. What is a safe alternative for torrents downloaded from xatab?
Hello, after reading through the post and getting myself kitted up with all the useful stuff, i noticed AdGuard DNS, when i checked their page, it confused me as, is the DNS pay to use or is there a free version or when it says privacy does that mean me using cloudflare is bad ? im not from USA or Germany so do i need the adguard protection?

Some people in topics posted here in "Reddit" said that DODI repacks isn't safe, some people found miners, some other found trojans, so is it really trustworthy?
This is rubbish, Dodi is on the r/CrackWatch trusted repackers list. He does use ad supported links on his website though. Trojans are sometimes flagged, but only in the installed game since sometimes, parts of the crack can be seen as malware (they aren't).
Another question: i used to download games from OvaGames, and found no problem with, but i noticed in the last period they removed all repacks from their site like FitGirl, Blackbox...etc but kept only the full games, also the annoying ads, sometimes Adblock tools don't work with, is Ova Games still trustworthy??
We will review Ova games. They do use a lot of ads, but if you use Ublock origin, you can use the element zapper to remove the anti adblock prompt.

All over the site there are ads. Ridiculous amounts of ads. One or two box ads / banner ad is okay, as all websites need to stay alive sonehow, but IGG have taken it too far. All these ads provide them with revenue.

Torrenting is a P2P file sharing method. No servers are involved, people just share what they have directly to others. You should use a VPN when you torrent.

You are saying that KickassTorrents and TPB are unsafe because of the risk of catching malware, but does that mean that you should not download torrents from there even from trustworthy uploaders?
It means that though those sites are popular, there are some uploaders who upload malware. So these are categorized as unsafe because of them.
You can download but I would caution you to be safe and only download from reputed uploaders and never disable your anti virus

I've pirated basically all my games, and rediscovered red dead redemption 2 recently through YouTube. Sadly, I found out it has not been cracked. Luckily, I remembered I'd bought it on steam a year or so back, and I had to search Steam in my files, launch it and install the game. Had previously downloaded Halo and SWAT 4 from there, now thought it would be a good time to give Half Life 1 a good run so tried entering the site and it gave me a red screen of death (Site Contains Dangerous Programs). Tried entering anyways and it gave me a fail in establishing connection and a ping in my antivirus. Red screen said Steamunlocked had been put on a blacklist by Google Safe Browsing for providing PUPs. The weird thing is that I can open it on my phone with no problems. Thoughts? I’m tried some recommended ones but I can’t figure out to use them.
Anyone figure out how to make this work? Since oculus app doesn't detect the headset through VD, none of my pirated games show up. Games launch just fine from the virtual desktop dashboard, but the vd dashboard does not detect pirated games and i cannot figure out how to add them.
I tried adding games to steam as nonsteam vr games and then launching them from inside steamvr but that doesn't seem to really work either

Now bonneteer features direct linking best effort. So it will make its best effort to get you directly to the game download page, but sometimes it will be to the posters page.
Random game search, not really that useful but fun feature.
Releases is back on, so if you are bored and just feel like trying out a new game go to releases and start a search on the top AAA and Indie game releases, provided by crackwatch.
Unfortunately some sites like 1337x (personal favourite) are down, but rargb, solid torrents and rutor are pretty amzing so in the meantime they've got you covered.

Apk searches will be made available, not much sense in having it mobile friendly if you cant look for apks.
