Please don't waste your time lol. I've asked about this many times. Reform and Liberal Jewish denominations accept patrilineality. In any case, he doesn't even want me or our future children to convert. He's from a secular family. But the options are still available just in case.

I'm Kuwaiti but I'm not ethnically an "Arab". Half of the Kuwaiti people are originally non-Arab. And it doesn't matter anyway. I'm a mixed-race person myself, so I don't mind marrying someone from another ethnic background. I've known the person I'm marrying since med school.

Nadia is actually a Slavic name. Means hope. But it's used in Semitic languages too. It means tender in Semitic. My parents named me Nadia after a Russian-Mongolian Soviet painter: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nadya_Rus

I understand a little bit of Hebrew and Maltese. They're similar to Arabic. I'm marrying a Maltese-British Jew so I'm brushing up on my language skills.

One day in the future, humanity will cease to exist. All signs of human settlement will disappear. Aliens will visit Earth and see no signs of intelligent life. But then they'll discover a mosque on a roundabout still intact. They'll conclude indeed there was no intelligent life.

To be honest, Alex, the old city had nothing of value. It was demolished in order to make way for modern infrastructure. The old city was just a bunch of mud houses.

They tried to demolish that mosque in the roundabout many times in the past, but something bad kept happening to the people who were meant to demolish it lol. So they decided to just keep the mosque where it is.
