Vajrayana Buddhists like Mongols and Tibetans also came to believe Wutai is bodhimaṇḍa for Manjushri and made pilgrimate to Wutai in Shanxi province. Wutai had nothing to do with Manchus, Jilin, Heilongjiang or Manchu culture

Each mountain is believed to be a bodhimaṇḍa for a bodhisattva. Emei is bodhimaṇḍa of Samantabhadra, Jiuhua is Kṣitigarbha, Putuo is for Avalokiteśvara, and Wutai for Manjushri. All four are in Han Chinese provinces.

India's relations with Manchuko is millenias of years old. From Buddhism to Greater Asian Sphere, the relations was always warmer. For Indians, Manchuria is a very familiar word bcoz most Indians had chicken or gobi manchurian as their favourite food.
