Stop lying. Hindus number just around ~300k in Kuwait while Indians number ~1M.
The overwhelming bulk of the Indians there are obviously Muslim.
At most, Hindus make up only 1/3 of the Indian population of Kuwait.

Ethnicities are not stationary.
Acehnese people used to be Hindus once, now the term is synonymous with Islamists.
Kashmirs were 100% Hindu-Buddhist once but is synonymous with "Kashmiri Muslim" now.
When people talk about Iranians today, they don't think of Zoroaster.

Most Hindus in Aden, South Yemen were Gujaratis. North Yemenis introduced the Tayyibi sect (Dawoodi Bohras belong to this group) to Gujarat while Shafi'i Hadramis also settled in Gujarat from where they went to Malaysia/Indonesia to convert Hindus.

It's not just Amrikis though. It's practically the whole world. You can ask a British to an Arab, they use "Bengali" synonymously with Bengali Ms.
Numbers are what matter at the end of the day. Even Indian media mean KMs when they use the term "Kashmiri", separate from KPs.
