Uyghurs went on a jihad to slaughter Huis a century ago after they assumed they were Shafi'i Sunnis. Uyghur insurgency is definitely Islamic, not ethnic.

Apparently, the government in Ethiopia shut down the Internet to block word of the 78 #Oromo protestors killed in Addis Ababa. That authoritarian maneuver never works.

They don't decry FGM, marriage to illegitimate daughters and a whole lot of other creepy things. Also, they have like 2X kids as the average Buddhist in that country.

this was a clash between native Turks of Urumqi and occupying Han Chinese. Similar incidents you have seen in Italy, Vietnam etc. This is not about Islam, but against Chinese invasion.

Stop lying. Turks aren't native to Urumqi, Oirat Mongols are. Urumqi means "beautiful pasture" in their language. Hans settled the region after the Dzungar genocide. Not a single mosque existed there before 18th century. Oirats are Vajrayana Buddhists.

Malayali Muslims follow the Shafi'i school of Sunni Islam. As per that school, a man can marry his biological daughter if she's born out of wedlock (say from an affair or a prostitute)

Chinese people are just as nationalistic about their country as Indians are about theirs. Just like you put up things like CKMKB, they are also doing the same thing on the other side of the border. While you can be Sinophobic, Hans also can be Indophobic.
