About “God in Three Persons ”

2 contributors

Rock opera/concept album by The Residents. The story involves a sinister would-be svengali named Mr. X acting as the narrator, who encounters a pair of conjoined twins who have healing powers. Mr. X becomes their manager and falls in love with the “female” twin, then schemes to separate the two of them so he can have her for himself.

The first Residents project recorded for the Compact Disc in mind, the first after Snakefinger’s death, the first to be published by a mainstream label (RykoDisc), and the last project to be recorded on analog tape
