And you still refuse to recognise the historical fact that it was Timur Lang and his Turko-Mongol army that nearly wiped out the entire Assyrian population in the 14th century. Hardly the fault of the Kurds, whose ancestors were living in Upper Mesopotamia for thousands of years.

Yeah just get lost already. Here you are trying to sell the false idea that the Kurds "stole" land from the Assyrians when the fact is they've been living in Upper Mesopotamia for thousands of years according to DNA/genetic studies, regardless of what they call themselves now.

Widely unaccepted? Do you want me to show you other studies that also say the Kurds are descendants of ancient peoples who lived in Upper Mesopotamia? You just don't like it because it doesn't fit into your false narrative that the Kurds are somehow "invaders".

Timur Lang wasn't Kurdish. The Timurids weren't Kurds. The Assyrians became a minority in Upper Mesopotamia because of Timur during the 14th century. The Kurds participated in the Assyrian Genocide and nobody's disputing that. But the idea that they're not "natives" is nonsense.

The Messiah is aperson. The Jews have returned to the land of their fathers as God has promised, but they have returned in unbelief. Many Jews at the time of Jesus failed to see that the Messiah had to suffer (Isiah 53) and to die. Also they did not see the age of the mystery

What did I say that was wrong? That Assyrian nationalist continuously refer to the Kurds as invaders? Well most of them do. All I did was show from a scientific study that the Kurds are actually native to Upper Mesopotamia. Don't like it? Tough luck. Facts don't change.

Yeah me neither. I directed that at Assyrian nationalists who claim the Kurds are "invaders" when in fact genetic studies show that the Kurds are descendants of ancient Mesopotamians. I also directed it as Partisangirl because she spreads disinformation about the Kurds 24/7.

I've always appreciated your support sister. I have nothing personal against assyrians but their generalisations against kurds is tiring & illogical. I understand the KRG isn't perfect and many of its citizens can be quite conservative but they're not going to find better allies.

Nope. These are old names of historical regions in central and western Anatolia during Lydian and Hittite times. There's no mention of Russia either in the Book of Ezekiel. A lot of Christians think Rosh means Russia but in Hebrew Rosh means "Head". In Arabic we say "Ras".

Alright relax. I think Assyrians should have their own country in northern Iraq, just like the Kurds. Actually all nations should have their own country. Not fair that the Arabs have 20+ countries while Kurds and Assyrians have zero. My tweet was meant to show Kurds are natives.

You're interpreting this from the Old Testament, am I correct? The Hebrew Bible doesn't really speak of 7 years, if I'm not mistaken. Plus the Messiah is probably a metaphor and not a real person since the Jews have already returned to their land, which was one of the promises.

Some say it's the Ottoman Empire because it was technically "Third Rome" (Constantinople was New Rome), and it encompassed the territories of the Persian, Median and Babylonian empires. But some people interpret the Messiah and anti-Messiah as metaphors instead of literal beings.

Hurrians weren't Assyrians. The Kurds of Upper Mesopotamia are descendants of ancient Hurrians. They adopted the Kurdish language over the centuries. It shows that language doesn't correlate with genetics. In other words, the #Kurds are native to that land, and aren't "invaders".
