- The Washington Times - Friday, June 19, 2020

The United Nations Human Rights Council on Friday unanimously voted to commission a report on systemic racism and discrimination against black people and condemned last month’s killing of George Floyd, which sparked worldwide anti-racism protests.

The 47-member group, of which the U.S. is not a member after withdrawing in 2018, approved a resolution after days of negotiating the language of the document, during which a group of African nations reportedly backed down from their efforts to launch a commission of inquiry on the matter following U.S.-led closed-door talks.

The resolution now calls for a more streamlined report to be authored by the council chief’s office among other experts, and seeks to “contribute to accountability and redress for victims” in the U.S. and around the world, The Associated Press reported.

It also condemns “the continuing racially discriminatory and violent practices” by law enforcement against Africans and people of African descent “in particular which led to the death of George Floyd on 25 May 2020 in Minnesota.”

Mr. Floyd, an unarmed black man, died after a white police officer knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes in Minneapolis.

The resolution also calls for the U.N.’s High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet to review government responses to peaceful protests that swept the world in the wake of Floyd’s death and issue a report on her findings to the council by June of next year.

Black cops say systemic racism exists in policing: ‘We don’t speak up because it’s career suicide’

Wow. I have trouble believing this is an article in the Washington Times vs. the New York Times.  This article is so one-sided that I think everybody needs to hear the other side for once:* There is systemic racism in the black community. Almost every black person hates whites and Hispanics to one degree or another. Just ask them. (It would make an interesting article, really.) Anti-white racism exists in every police department in the country for that reason alone.* The chick that said she was sexually harassed on the job didn't volunteer to tell the reporter all the things she said in her 27-year career that were inappropriate. Did she sexually-harass anybody, too? Maybe. Did the reporter bother to ask her? Why not?* Black and white are not typically capitalized unless they are proper names, by the way.* George Floyd, Michael Brown, and the dude killed in Atlanta all were criminals and were being arrested for performing criminal acts. All of them resisted arrest. Some of them were trying to hurt or kill the officers arresting them. If they hadn't been doing those things, they would still be alive today. If a person cannot bring themselves to say that simple fact, they are not capable of simple honesty with themselves, and I have no respect for their viewpoint. If any of these men were my son, I would have long ago taken them to the woodshed for their bad behavior. I get tired of news articles that are little more than crazy-liberal cliche's.

George Soros, 89, is still on a quest to destroy America

While the vast majority of leftists, especially the activist left, are ignorant fools, duped into acting the role of drones or minions, Soros, as are a few others of his ilk, is truly revulsive creature with evil intentions and the means with which to achieve them. This miscreant squirmed out from under the jackboot that tried to crush him and began to lick it instead, thereby ensuring his survival by collaborating with the enemy (he outed and turned in his own kind to those who would eradicate groups of people based on their heritage and ethnicity). This is a creature that has no morals, no ethics and no decency, and will use whatever means are at hand to promote his agenda. Anyone who stands with this creature, or supports his causes, is no better than is he. Ironically, the left, who purport to stand against racism, sexism, etc., etc. are the first to support policies, both official and social, to proliferate these sentiments. Anyone who continues to buy into the left's divisive identity politics, class warfare, and socialist ideology are either fools or are actively complicit in the attempt to bring down the finest experiment to effectively, humanely, and prosperously govern ourselves and positively evolve in human history. I pray to God that he expedite the removal of this servant of Satan, but I fear that he has already left a far more damaging legacy that will barely be affected by his death. Just remember, the only remedy for lies is the truth.
