Well, by definition, anyone who speaks Arabic and calls himself/herself an Arab is an Arab. Pretty simple. So yeah, most of North Africans refer to themselves as Arabs. Just like how most Anatolians call themselves Turks even though they're Turkified Greeks.

Arap calipahte has ended after SelimI conquerd Egypt from Mamluks another Turkic state and brought all relics and Islam scholars it is said that nearly 2000 scholars, to Istanbul, decleared himself caliph. It was the worst thing I think Turks lost their culture by Arap influence

Why you say Turks or Araps in terms of your view? 4exmpl Araps took Syria from Turks? In 17th 18th century all peoplw living in African states of Ottoman were Araps? Kavalalı Mehmet Pasha were Arap? Or his army was Arap? Mamluks were Araps?

He was an Albanian governer assigned by the Ottoman Empire, Egypt Arabs have no connection with him. His army was the part of Ottoman Army, at that time Egypt was a part of Ottoman Empire

Thanks to the Ottoman Turkish khazouk, the banning of book printing by the Ottoman sultans, the slaughter of scientists, the burning of books and libraries, etc. It's no wonder the West loved the Ottoman-Western alliance so much. It kept the Muslim World backward for centuries.

For most of history before the Ottoman era, the region was among the most advanced in the world. During Ottoman era is when the region fell behind and western Europe really took over. The shift happened in 16th-17th century.

Well technically speaking the whole empire wasn't of Turkic origin since the Ottoman dynasty itself, along with most Turks, are Turkified peoples.

I am not sure if you could understand the link in my previous tweet? It is the cabinet of the Sultan. The names are all non-muslim. Ruling Ottoman family was Turkic Origin. But the governing elites were overwhelmingly Non-muslims. Including high ranking Military.
