Haven't you heard of the Arab caliphates lol? Oh and haven't you heard of Egypt, which seceded from the Ottoman Empire and laid siege to Istanbul in the mid 1800s after seizing Syria from the Turks? Yeah that was pretty embarrassing.

Thanks to the Ottoman Turkish khazouk, the banning of book printing by the Ottoman sultans, the slaughter of scientists, the burning of books and libraries, etc. It's no wonder the West loved the Ottoman-Western alliance so much. It kept the Muslim World backward for centuries.

For most of history before the Ottoman era, the region was among the most advanced in the world. During Ottoman era is when the region fell behind and western Europe really took over. The shift happened in 16th-17th century.

Well technically speaking the whole empire wasn't of Turkic origin since the Ottoman dynasty itself, along with most Turks, are Turkified peoples.

I am not sure if you could understand the link in my previous tweet? It is the cabinet of the Sultan. The names are all non-muslim. Ruling Ottoman family was Turkic Origin. But the governing elites were overwhelmingly Non-muslims. Including high ranking Military.

Many Europeans countries plus Japan and Korea also have those. I dont think you can consider them as same level with puppet Arabic States of America. They literally take orders directly. We can make S400 deals with Russia.. Arabs states can only dream about such deals.

The term "Turk" was derogatory during Ottoman times, that's true. But the Ottomans were Turks after all. They just preferred calling themselves Muslims or Ottomans instead.

Ottomans hated Turks although the ruling family was Turkish. Especially through the end of the Empire the word “Turk” represented illiterate peasents. Why do you hate the Saudis so much? Is it because Saudi Arabia's ranked higher than Turkey in scientific output according to the Nature Index? ^_^ Or is it because Saudi Arabia's the old Turkey and Turkey's the new Saudi Arabia? :-D

Lawrence was a great man. He gave his service for his Kingdom. In his otobiography Seven Gates Of Wisdom, he wrote that "when Arabs killing Turkish soldiers even they were in hospitals, lying wounded or captured without any weapon, I regretted deeply.

You're kidding right? The Arabs had empires stretching from Spain to China. The Turks never achieved such a feat. Moreover, the Arab empires enjoyed scientific achievements, unlike the Ottoman empire, which was only known for the khazouk torture device lel.

You have bit inferiority complex and butthurt. Because millions of Arab never establish an empire like Ottoman Empire, never created a big man like Atatürk. Turks were the one who crushed the Crusades, Arabs are very weak in wars as always.

No u got it wrong totally wrong. Everytime there was a revolt against the ottomans it was always to gain power. Why would muslims who are ruled by muslims want to be independent when they are under the same banner ? Unless they strived to stray away from the main goal -
