So I know I said I was going to post some recipes from over the weekend…but I didn’t make any. =( Sad. And I didn’t really have much to post about! It’s hard keeping up with a blog sometimes. I am still going to stay diligent and try to post 2-3 times a week no matter what, but sometimes I am at a loss for what to say. =)
I did do progress pics yesterday tho! And I was pleasantly surprised. I have been feeling very “bulky”, but the scale (not that it really matters) was actually at 137 on Saturday, which means my weight gain is probably only around 5 pounds. And these pictures show that it’s definitely not much fat (if any!)
Now, tan and lighting obviously make a difference, but I can definitely tell that I am not bigger than I was about a month ago. And in a lot of places I see a little more definition and am even smaller!!
Love the little tan lines under my butt cheeks? Haha. The first one I like…I am starting to see my booty round out a little more. But I am very disappointed with the back of my legs. I have ALWAYS held fat there, and I know it’s going to be one of the last spots to lean out and a lot of that will be diet. But I have been KILLING it on leg day. I guess I just need to keep it up, and maybe step it up a notch. I am finally becoming comfortable with the squat rack…and I did 200 pounds the other day!! 200! WHAT?! My friend Miranda was asking me if I see a lot of progress in my body, and honestly I realized that I see most of my progress in my strength gains at the gym. And I love it.
Obviously not in the shoulder department though. Which I will be talking to the doctor about this morning. I talked to my friend who works in sports physical therapy (and chiropractic) and he said athletic tape was a waste of tape, and all I need is one piece of kineseo (sp?) tape…and that maybe I should go to a doctor who knows what he’s dealing with. =/ Admittedly, Dr. Swanson said he wasn’t sure, but he’s gone out of his way to research it for me and try to help me, and I REALLY like that in a doctor. So I know Dr. Swanson will be honest with me and either tell me that we can keep doing what we’re doing or he can send me elsewhere. But I know I am going to get better.
Lastly…WTH is this?!
I HAVE BEEN SOOOOO COLD!!!!! I don’t want it to be 100 again, but DAMN! This shit is cold!

I use KinesiologyTape for my knee. I started using it when I was in high school. It helps me, but i’m just not at keeping up with it. I can give ya some if you wanted to try it out.
