Updates on COVID-19 in Tokyo
“Tokyo Alert”
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government issues the alert to clearly inform the public of the infection situation in Tokyo and call for vigilance. We request your continued cooperation in implementing the “new normal,” including thorough hand washing and wearing a mask, maintaining social distance, and exercising caution at locations where the risk of the “three Cs” (closed spaces, crowded places, close conversation) exists.
Steps to alleviate leave requests for facilities in Tokyo
We explain that there are 4 steps to alleviate leave requests for facilities. First, “Step 0”, which refers to the situation as of 22th May, 2020. After that, it will be gradually proceed to "Step 3" based on the characteristics of the facilities and the history of cluster occurrence.
