With the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) now a pandemic, a lot of misinformation and disinformation has spread in what is called an “infodemic.” To help the society and individuals to better fight the virus with accurate information, FIJ has started an international fact-checking project since March 2020.
We are collaborating with media partners and IFCN Coronavirus Facts alliance members to fact-check more questionable information relating to Japan and other regions.
Our new English website is designed to help people and fact-checkers access easily to Japan-related fact-checked information and essential resource.
Please feel free to contact us with questions or suggestions for any more fact-checks. Our team will help you find the facts on the novel coronavirus.
