1962 ‘Life in 2022’ Image Depicted Everyone Trapped in Pods

Not far off?

Published

on

A depiction of life in 2022 by an Italian magazine first published in 1962 depicted pedestrians using motorized pods instead of walking, something that may turn out to be quite accurate given current fears over coronavirus.

The image was drawn by Walter Molino, an Italian comics artist and illustrator. It featured on the front page of a 1962 edition of La Domenica del Corriere, an Italian weekly newspaper which ran from 1899 to 1989.

The cartoon shows individuals navigating the sidewalk from within the confines of their own personal pod.

While the depiction was probably more of a pedestrian travel-related prediction, it meshes quite eerily with current fears over coronavirus, which has led to suggestions that the “new normal” must incorporate a similar pod-based lifestyle to protect against the virus, because apparently immune systems don’t function anymore.

As the video below shows, a restaurant in the Netherlands is trialing individual greenhouse-style pods where diners eat in “safety” as their waiter brings them their food on a long board while wearing a head visor and a mask.

What happens in summer when the glorified greenhouses reach near oven temperatures was not discussed in the video.

Proposals for people to be ensconced within their own pods for air travel, trips to the beach and other activities have also emerged in recent weeks.

Live in a pod, work in a pod, socialize in a pod, travel in a pod!

California Man Thrown In PSYCHIATRIC HOLD For Expressing Concern About Bill Gates’ Vaccines

Claimed the coronavirus outbreak is “an elaborate hoax to scare Americans into vaccines that make people trackable through 5G towers.”

A California man has been locked in a psychiatric hold after he said he would ‘have to take things into my own hands’ regarding a theory involving Bill Gates, vaccines and 5G.

The Independent reports that the man “was placed in psychiatric hold for three days while police seized unregistered shotguns from his home.”

Citing a San Diego press release, the report notes that police “obtained a Gun Violence Restraining Order against the 52-year-old after he told family and friends about his plan to arm himself during the Covid-19 pandemic.”

According to the report, the man claimed the coronavirus outbreak is “an elaborate hoax to scare Americans into vaccines that made people trackable through 5G towers.”

Police got involved when the man allegedly became “enraged” after being denied a purchase of ammunition. The man is said to have expressed a belief that the incident was part of a government plot against him.

Officials said, however, that the purchase was denied owing to the man being on probation for a prior drink-driving conviction, which prohibits firearm sales until 2025.

Police said that the man began ranting about needing to arm himself against Bill Gates, saying that “people are going to try and get me and I need to defend myself”.

City Attorney Mara W Elliott commuted that “Thanks to public vigilance, police were able to safely intervene and remove firearms from someone who presented a danger to himself and others before he resorted to violence.”

European Union Approves Bugs For Human Consumption

Still not eating them.

Published

on

The European Union’s Food Safety Authority has approved the sale of bugs as “novel food,” meaning that they are likely to be mass produced for human consumption throughout the continent by the end of the year.

Can’t wait.

“These have a good chance of being given the green light in the coming few weeks,” the secretary-general of the International Platform of Insects for Food and Feed, Christophe Derrien, told The Guardian.

Since 1997, the EU has required a “novel food” classification to allow the sale of products that had no history of being consumed by humans, meaning that the sale of bugs has been banned in countries like Spain, France and Italy for over two decades.

However, with the new approval, mass production of bug-based food is set to ramp up later this year. This means that locusts, crickets, grasshoppers, and mealworms may all appear on supermarket shelves by the autumn.

Christophe Derrien is looking forward to the sale of bugs as both a stand alone food and incorporated into existing products, arguing that they are a great source of protein and the production of bug food doesn’t harm the planet.

“The sort of foods ranges from whole insects as an aperitif or as snacks to processed insects in bars or pasta or burgers made out of insects,” he said.

As we have previously highlighted, eating bugs has been heavily promoted by cultural institutions and the media in recent years because people are being readied to accept drastically lower standards of living under disastrous global ‘Green New Deal’ programs.

This will be exacerbated by the expected economic recession, or even depression, caused by the coronavirus outbreak.

This is why globalist publications like the Economist have been promoting the idea of eating bugs despite the fact that the kind of elitists who read it would never consider for a second munching on crickets or mealworms.

Empire State Building Debuts Dystopian Red ‘Siren’ Light

“Anxiety inducing.”

Published

on

The Empire State Building debuted what appeared to be a spinning red ‘siren’ light atop the iconic structure in what many observers saw as a dystopian sign of the times.

Scientist Rita J. King explained that the light was not actually spinning but was made to look that way.

“It’s the way the light is being used to create the illusion of a spin,” King said.

Alex Jones and Paul Joseph Watson are are live right now covering this and other important stories.

Many respondents complained that the light was “anxiety inducing,” an observation shared by King, who said it should be swapped out “for the soothing, beautiful heartbeat pulse they use for Valentine’s Day.”

“Are they going to sound an air raid siren too?” asked another respondent.

While many saw the light as a dystopian touch that wouldn’t look out of place in an apocalyptic zombie movie, the Empire State Building itself claimed the light was supposed to represent the “heartbeat of America.”

“Starting tonight through the COVID-19 battle, our signature white lights will be replaced by the heartbeat of America with a white and red siren in the mast for heroic emergency workers on the front line of the fight,” the Empire State Building tweeted.
