With the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) now a pandemic, a lot of misinformation and disinformation has spread in what is called an “infodemic.” To help the society and individuals to better fight the virus with accurate information, FIJ has started a new fact-check project.
We, as an initiative, gather misinformation and fact-check related resource to domestic media partners as well as IFCN Coronavirus Facts alliance members. On our designated English website for COVID-19, we listed the fact-checked information that has been performed by Japanese media and #CoronaVirusFacts Alliances.
