Fact: In Portugal the BCG vaccine was mandatory since 1965 to 2017. So everyone between 3 and 55 years old are vaccinated. That should give us some degree of group immunity.

I found that all deaths in Portugal are over 50 while all 44 out of 45 deaths in Japan are over 70. All Portuguese under 55 (born after 1965) are BCG vaccinated and All Japanese under 69 are vaccinated. jsatonotes.com/2020/03/if-i-w
