@nebula I am okay with the delay but for god's sake do t break my trust by downgrading the projector..everyone getting a hit here and we can wait but I trust you to upgrade and not downgrade
Wim V.
Stop calling me 'wimmy' and I'm still not your boy. Do it again and I'm reporting you for harassment.
That said, I do vaguely remember getting an email that spoke about warranty extension.
@nebula what's going on here?

Hey wimmy boy. Suck it

Changes in product specifications and delivery times
2020.03.05
Supporters and those who are considering support
Thank you for supporting the Full HD & Dolby®️ Digital Plus"-enabled Anker Nebula Cosmos and 4K & 3D audio-enabled Anker Nebula Cosmos Max projects.
As a result of repeated discussions during the development of products, the following three points have been changed. We apologize for any inconvenience and concern regarding the partial specifications of the product and the delivery time.
(1) Changes in product specifications
The following changes will be made to the corresponding ch of the acoustic function.
Anker Nebula Cosmos Max
Before: 2.1ch / 5.1ch / 7.1ch
After change: 2.1ch / 5.1ch
Note: The Dol®️by Digital Plus and SoundDimension will continue to be installed.
Anker Nebula Cosmos
Before: 2.1ch / 5.1ch / 7.1ch
After change: 2.1ch
Note: "Dolby ®️ Digital Plus" will continue to be installed.
Because it is 2.1ch correspondence, "Sound Dimension" is not supported.
2Change of delivery time
Due to the effects of the new coronavirus infection, some materials have been delayed. For this reason, we have changed the delivery time as follows.
Before: End of June 2020
After change: End of August 2020
We apologize once again to all of you who are looking forward to it.
3Extension of the warranty period of the product
For those who have received some changes in specifications and delivery times and who have supported us through Makuake, we will extend the warranty period of the product as follows.
Before: 18 months
After change: 24 months (extended by 6 months from normal)
We are preparing to deliver products that meet your expectations, so we would appreciate your continued support.
Kickstarter is a specification that the crowdfunding period has ended and the notation on the page can not be changed.
The products delivered by overseas crowdfunding will be products after specification changes.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the fact that the legacy information (Bluetooth 5.0) is still listed.
We apologize again for the fact that this change in the specifications has disappointed our expectations.
We are conducting a comprehensive final review to meet your expectations, and we look forward to your continued support.
Wim V.
Michael 'it's not wimmy boy'. And you are the one making the accusation, you say agaib you have it. But yet again you fail to provide it. So where is it?
As saying goes: 'Put up, or shut up'.
All of us await your so called 'proof' with anticipation.
Nebulaクリエイター
For clarification we are not downgrading anything and we do not plan to do so.
Taeseong Kim
@Nebula, thank you so much for clarifying on this one. I was seriously worried about Michael’s claim that audio specs are downgraded, but I’m glad you decided to officially confirm that that’s not true. Now I just hope this whole COVID-19 thing will be over sooner than later. I hear that at least in China things are getting much better so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
Michael
Removing 3D sound and limiting the cosmos to 2.1 isn’t a downgrade? Removing 7.1 from the max isn’t a downgrade?
Michael
If I’m not mistaken wimmy you are one of the backers of the cosmos.
Michael
I feel bad for the people who didn’t get the Max because the cosmos took the bigger shot in the downgrade
Michael
I got the proof wimmy boy don’t you worry.
Taeseong Kim
@Michael, if you’re going to claim you got the proof, I’d greatly appreciate it if you could share it with all of us. If that really is true, then sooner or later Nebula will have to announce it anyway, but maybe you could save us some time. Thank you.
Taeseong Kim
@Michael So as you can see above, Nebula officially denied your claim, using direct and clear terminology. Looks like that’s the end of story.
Michael I see no message anywhere, Kickstarter or other source that specs were being downgraded.
YOU are the one making the accustation, as such its up to you to provide proof to back up your claim/accusation.
No proof? It didn't happen!
Michael
I would like to give nebula the opportunity to respond or give a proper update even though this information was released the same day the we were notified about the delay in production.
Parminder Sandhu
I never heard anything like that..in fact last o had heard they had added a high quality chip so that horizontal or vertical keystoning doesn't cause downgrade of picture
Michael
So you forgot to mention in your most recent “meaningful” update that you are making changes to the specifications and that you are DOWNGRADING the audio.... Whoever is in charge of disseminating information to the Kickstarter backers needs replaced if this is true.
Taeseong Kim
@Michael, where did you get that information? Delays, blatant lies, and now specs downgrade without letting us know? If true, I might have to just ask for a refund and get my 1,100$ back.
Nebulaクリエイター
Cosmos/Max supports 3D,you just need to buy 3D glasses suitable for DLP 3D.
Nebulaクリエイター
Sorry, the previous comment was meant for an indiegogo thread.
In terms of this claim, we have not announced anything of the like. We urge backers to keep an eye on our updates as well as our comments.
Stephen Santell
Good luck and stay healthy.

Thank you so much!
Gregory Barnes
I trust Anker 100% and appreciate the transparency... We are not in normal times. I would love a teaser or good quality video of the max in action though! Thanks
Nebulaクリエイター
Thank you for the kind words!
Parminder Sandhu
@wayne no fanboy..I just have faith..have seen what has happened with philips ..major delays..but of course with nebula it's a new excuse
Parminder Sandhu
Guys delay may b by a month max.other factories are opening as we speak n I'm sure so will nebula any day
LPL
@Nebula, How you dare? Just imagine how many CORONAS PACKS I’ve missed saving for your project?
Nebulaクリエイター
LOL. Thank you for understanding.
WayneC
So a couple of months ago I asked what impact the coronavirus would have on the delivery dates of the cosmos units. Maybe a week after I inquired the response was that it would have no impact and the delivery would be on time. Now you are telling us the delivery is delayed indefinitely due to the specific reason I inquired about. And, going back looking for my original question I find you have deleted it and also deleted your response. This really doesn't sound like how any company I would want to do business with would handle themselves.

This isn't a matter of fanboi-ism. It's a matter of knowing what products they deliver based on previous experience. I've owned both capsule I (gave that a new home), still own capsule II, own tons of their usb cables, powerbanks and other peripherals.
I can't speak for anyone else but me, but i don't give a rats ass if it were another 6 months before it's in my hands due to covid-19. That's 6 more months they have for finetuning, perfecting software etc. I have ZERO doubt they'll deliver, and when they do it'll live up to expectations.
Nebulaクリエイター
@WayneC We absolutely hear you, we do. We had no idea what kind of impact this would have either, as it's a fast-moving, very volatile situation. Don't worry, we're still dedicated to bringing you a quality product. This is but a roadbump!
In terms of deleted comments, we are not able to actually do that on our end when replying to comments on Kickstarter. Not sure what happened with those, but we'll take a look. Sorry that it seems that way!
Parminder Sandhu
@nebula Asking same question again.
I want to place my cosmos max on the side wall to project a 150 inch image to the center of the wall how far do I need to place it.
Also do tell us something about the keystone chip you have added to give us a perfect picture
LPL
@Nebula, Thanks for the update, no worries, We, the hardcore backers, trust on you and will wait patiently; btw, I ordered both, the Cosmos Max and the 1080p, Stay safe, Keep up your great work, and JaYoe Wuhan! PS. I erased by mistake the tracking number for the Beta Unit; would you please email to me back?
Michael
Nebula you just told me a couple weeks ago everything was on track and now with update #6 you say
“... and are running tests as we gear up to start mass-production.”
According to your original timeline mass production was suppose to start months ago in January. You even posted a video of a test production run in January. Yet, a couple a weeks ago...
“Hey Michael, we currently do not have any change of plans in terms of the timeline. We'll let you know if things change in that aspect.”
There were no changes and now you tell us you haven’t even began mass production. Seems like a change in plans to me. You also told us you would be announcing a stretch goal over a month ago and with this current update...
“Finally, we can reveal that we are currently working on the stretch goal, which we will announce as soon as we have made a decision.”
You haven’t even made a decision on one yet. Seems like a change of plans to me. If I had to bet I don’t think there will even be a stretch goal implemented. The virus has been a long standing issue that many backers have already acknowledged and I completely understand the implications this virus can have on development and production and that it is an unexpected deterrent, but the blatant misleading comments just for complacency is unacceptable. One could argue you knowingly lied. I am very disappointed. This campaign has become a farce. I thought you were a trusted company. Transparency goes a long way and I hope you will be more diligent in keeping open, continued, and regular communication with the people that trusted you with their time and money

Thanks for voicing your concerns!
As you all know this is an unfortunate and random turn of events that our team has had to make some changes for. We understand it seems like we have not been transparent, but we had been waiting for a meaningful update for you all.
We understand this isn't what you wanted to wake up to this morning, but it is the unfortunate reality of the situation. With that being said, we are doing our best to make sure that you get your Nebula projectors as soon as possible.
Michael
What is the meaningful update that you were waiting for. You haven’t given us anymore information other than that instead of shipping in a couple weeks that you haven’t even begun production. Which transparency would dictate that you should’ve told us in January not now. Using COVID-19 as a scape goat is quite transparent though. The virus only recently became a major issue and you are going to cling to that for justification of deliberately lying to your backers. The adjustment to the timeline isn’t the issue here if that hasn’t been made clear.
Babin
Totally agree with Michael. Please explain why production didn’t start in January.
