I meant **every word** of what I wrote at the end of this column. The people Sessions put in charge of these SpyGate investigations beginning back 2017 kept their oaths, kept the faith and did not violate the law.

I've spent almost 4 yrs watching reporters & watchdog groups on the RIGHT whine about the fact they can no longer get their usual accurate leaks about what's going on inside the DOJ. Because no accurate leaks are coming out, they're forced to SPECULATE about what's going on.

If the "Deep State" was in firm control of anything, then 1) Trump doesn't win the election in 2016 2) All the very tippy-toppy SpyGate people would still have their very important jobs and 3) you wouldn't know SPIT about what they'd DONE during that 2016 election & after.

Well of course they do. But they joined themselves to the hip with a particular narrative and they're stuck with it at this point. Barr & Trump just tag teamed the former US Attorney for DC & got 4 Mueller prosecutors to run for the hills. Yesterday we got a fake Barr leak.

That fake Barr leak followed a **very well publicized** letter written by many DC DOJ swampy creatures all demanding Barr resign because he [checks card] had the nerve to reign in some Mueller partisans run amok in the DC US Attorney's office.

You can't catch'em in the act unless you let them FULLY EXPOSE themselves. To do that, you give them TARGETS and you let them expose themselves as they attack your designated target. Now, a whole lot of people are not going to like what I say next. It won't change my opinion.

The best way to expose the Swamp and how truly awful and corrupt it is...was **not** for Trump to turn around at his inauguration and go "OK roll them up!" and then try to make the case AFTERWARDS in court to the public why that had to be done. That would've been a fiasco.

The best way to expose the Swamp is to pull back the curtain and show people the Swamp BEING the Swamp as it does to other innocent people exactly what it has always been doing. Setting them up with targeted strategic leaks, moving to investigate, then prosecuting them.
