The Center partners with the Science and Environmental Policy Project (SEPP) and the Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change to support the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC), an international network of climate scientists, engineers, and other experts. Originally created in 2003 by Dr. S. NIPCC produces and The Heartland Institute publishes the Climate Change Reconsidered series of digests of scientific research on climate change. Written with the assistance of more than 50 climate scientists from around the world, the series has been cited more than 100 times in peer-reviewed articles and praised by leading climate scientists from around the world. Another volume in the series, addressing the benefits and costs of fossil fuels, is currently in production.
