Does anyone have any experience of this? I am a UK citizen living in Tokyo. Are there any English language will writing services here, or is it better to use an overseas service based in UK?

Grateful for any advice! Thanks!

I learnt the word 一発屋 (ippatsuya, meaning one hit wonder) in work the other day. So made me wonder, who's your favourite 一発屋 (singers, comedians, artists)?

I've only been here a year so I imagine I've missed a lot, I know about Nasubi if he counts.

Hi, I’m trying to get ticket refund from AirChina because of novel Coronavirus. I bought the ticket at Japanese official website and payed at Convenience store. I have submitted an online request for a convenience store payment. They say they will refund in the passenger’s account. The issue is that they ask only 7 digit for account number. How can they identify the bank name, the Branch, etc? Did someone succeed at receiving ticket refund from AirChina because of coronavirus?

All coronavirus related news in japan seems to be pointed towards a very bad direction... and the predicted number of infected (but has not yet show symptoms) in Tokyo is very alarming...:(

If they push back the olympics would you consider it a sign of getting out of Tokyo?

Hello. I'm seeking information relating to the politics around Dual Citizenship in Japan. I've been told that some major points against allowing dual citizenship are criminals abusing it as a means of protection (such as from extradition) and the lack of contribution to the economy from persons with dual citizenship.

I'm interested in the arguments that are generally put forward for allowing dual citizenship, especially any pertaining to the major points I highlighted above if any.

There's quite a number of games from Japan that has a wolf that fights with a sword in its mouth, and it seems too specific a concept to not be based on something. For example, Twilight Princess, Dark Souls, and Pokemon now have heroic wolf characters that do this. Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
