It has a lower absolute bioavailability when ingested orally compared to intravenously, but if this were to be corrected so that they were even, then yes, the two should get you equally as high.
However, when you eat it there is a lag time, a brief coming up period, and then a peak, followed by a steady decrease in blood concentrations according to the half-life, which varies widely but is normally within 5–10 hours (and is dependent on urinary pH). Injecting it bolus produces an immediate peak followed by the steady decrease in half-life, which should be similar to, but may not be the same as, the oral elimination half-life.
Differences in the high, but they will both get you there.
