REPOST via @selbydrummond: As my mom always says, democracy is participatory, and it’s not enough to just pull a lever every four years. It’s time for me to go do something for my country. I am joining the @mike2020 campaign for one million reasons that you’ll see here soon, including that he has done more than almost any other private citizen or mayor to fight gun violence (@everytown and @momsdemandaction) , protect our earth (@sierraclub and America’s Pledge), and expand healthcare. But perhaps most importantly, he’s starting an all-out general election campaign now, because, make no mistake about it, our president will be chosen by SIX STATES on Nov 3, none of which any other candidate is in and where Trump has been campaigning since the day after he was elected. And where Mike is polling highest to beat Trump in a general. While our other candidates are pouring resources into Iowa, for example, which will go to Trump in the general, we need to start getting the word out where it will actually matter. @mikebloomberg is starting now in 32 states where no one else yet has a presence, and he’ll leave his entire campaign operation up and funded through November in service of the Democratic nominee (even if it isn’t him.) Make no mistake about it: this is THE ONLY WAY to beat Trump in the general election, where all signs now point to Trump winning against any other candidate. It’s not easy to stand up today when things are so heated, when we don’t want to alienate friends or discount what is important in their lives. But it’s time to be brave, and get involved. Whoever your candidate is, do whatever you can to help. I encourage you to post, share, engage, and use your voice and platform here to amplify. We cannot wait - Trump is training hundred of thousands of digital volunteers to spread his message. And soon enough we’ll all unite behind the nominee and get it done. Endless thanks to my colleagues and leaders at Snap who are supportive of participating in democracy. Be back soon 💕

Btw, Saddleback acquisition just got final approvals, so it looks like I’m going to be a Maine resident shortly with the move to Rangeley. Maybe see you both at Meg & Rick’s this summer? Cheers!

I didn’t think you were so political, but I know you love Michael, I think it would be awesome to have Mike vs Donald the debates would fantastic, I would have to say “I loved Mike as a mayor of New York and he is Jewish “ me also” so he would have my vote even thou I don’t think Donald Trump has done a bad job, yes he’s pompous and crude but so many people are I look Beyond that, but I’m not really political my son is 😊
