Here's the Pentagon's plan to counter the PKK

The US decided to give more intel and aid to Turkey against PKK after signing to directly arm YPG for Raqqa operation in 2017. Turks were furious. So they wanted to patch it up. Plausible that it included relaunch of drone program against PKK in Iraq.
