Job Overview
As a dedicated Game QA tester, you will participate in the translation of game client and content for Wargaming.net.
Reports To
Senior Manager, Localization and Documentation
What will you do?

Tests game localization; assesses product design, quality, and reliability

Documents defects into a tracking system, participates in game evaluation, and provides insight to developers

Performs linguistic QA and opens/resolves linguistic bugs (grammar, punctuation, style, etc.)

Verification translation accuracy

Checks truncated or misallocated text

Assesses cultural appropriateness
-
Ensures that market-specific information about the product or company, such as website links or contact information, is correct for the market

Generates QA reports

Communicates with other QA specialists and translators
What are we looking for?

Relevant experience preferred
-
Bachelor degree in major of English and literature or other language preferred
-
Attention to detail
-
Passion for games (playing WG games is an advantage)
-
Interest in translation and proofreading
-
Ability to think logically, creatively, and imagine the perspective of a variety of users
-
Game testing experience, either localization or functionality (optional)
-
Basic MS Excel skills
-
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Fundamental knowledge of game or software localization and localization tools
