My latest: The status quo – #Israeli control over #Palestinian land and people – now backed by the full force of the White House, may offer the illusion of normalcy. But as with all illusions, the longer they last, the uglier and more disastrous their end!

FTI's reputation is at play here. They'd better have a tougher case than what has been made available so far. Also the UN independent investigators should still explain why they fully endorsed the FTI investigation.
Between this and the pre-2019 #Sudan diplomacy, Arab states getting some very strong signals that America is willing to upend decades of policy in exchange for normalization with Israel

Turkey doesn’t want a full-scale war with the Russian-backed Syrian Arab Army. Assad doesn’t want Syria at war with NATO’s second most powerful military force. But this situation is in Idlib is totally unsustainable. Clear are Damascus’ long-term goals in Idlib. Ankara’s less so.
