thus the decision was made to deploy #Turkish troops in-between. The lack of coordination with #Russia (to avoid leak of information to SAA) and failure of #Russia to discourage Ankara from directly disrupting ongoing offensive was eventually exploited by #SAA who harassed TSK.

Note: it all seems like a provocation by #SAA. #Russia had explained goals & scope of operation to Turkish counterparts, but apparently Ankara has little trust in #Russia's ability to restrain #Assad forces which could go beyond M4 highway, espec. around #Saraqib +
