New: ZNC nick tracking script
Hello fellow ZNC users!
For those of you that use HexChat, you may be familiar with the nicktrace plugin, which allows you to keep track of nick changes for users and get output similar to this.
My friend /u/princess_aww and I have been working on a similar module for ZNC that has much of the same functionality, plus some additional features such as comparing shared users between channels or see what channels several users are in together.
The official module page can be found at the ZNC wiki, which includes some examples; source code and additional help is located on GitHub.

I want to get into IRC and I would like it if you recommended some good channels or servers.
As part of cleaning my backlog, I got to my old IRC logs. I have a lot re-reading to do, but the logs are all over the place.
My dream would be to drag all the files into a calendar-like program that sorts the logs by date and i'd be able to read them all as they were sent.
For now, I'm just focusing on reading the logs channel by channel and keeping notes of things manually to make a timeline of the past.
Often it happens that when I start to download a file initially it happens with a download speed about 2000 KB/s, but after few seconds it drops to 100 or 200 KB. Why? Can I fix that?
