After collecting data on nearly 1,500 trades in the first day of the Lunar New Year Event, researchers have determined that lucky trade odds have NOT been boosted above the standard 5% for new Pokemon:

Niantic: Literally advertises higher chance of getting lucky Pokemon Also Niantic: Doesn't increase the chance of getting lucky Pokemon (It's Niantic, they gotta get players playing, even if they have to lie. Not to mention the games a broken mess right now)

More than anecdotal evidence, I'd say it should've been noticeable with that sample size.

care to double check your bonuses for the Lunar new year event? Because I have already traded shinies specifically to get luckies during this event, and if what TSR says regarding lucky rates not being raised is true I will be very mad.....

I read it as the chance of becoming lucky friends was boosted, not that that just trades were more likely to be lucky. Is that just me?

That is just you, because they stated that normal trades have are also increased to be lucky..

Whilst you’re at it, fancy explaining the logic behind Karp and Vulpix being in 7ks. I get the event sure but that’s a money grab. Eggs are a mess over the whole game and need major work
