    My Kurdish mother doesn’t speak Kurdish because Kurdish was made illegal in Turkey in the 80s while she was growing up. As a result I also don’t speak my mother tongue. The PKK exists to fight this and give Kurds their rights. My Kurdish mother supports Kurdistan
