    After I was scheduled to give keynote speech at an upcoming conference, organizers said I must comply w/ Georgia’s anti-BDS law & sign a contractual pledge to not boycott Israel. I refused & my talk was canceled. The event fell apart after colleagues supported me

    As a lawyer I find this letter quite peculiar to put it mildly. Iraq as a sovereign nation has the sole right to decide whether the US military should stay or leave unless the US still regards itself as an occupying power.

    Chomsky in 2006, useful for understanding why the US refuses to leave Iraq even when it voted to expel us. If a country successfully defied US authority it would set an unacceptable precedent and thus cannot be allowed.

    "Obama" did not "kill Gaddafi." Of course. Then again: French fighters directed by surveillance from US Predator Drones did bomb G.'s convoy, killing dozens, ie they TRIED to kill G. but MISSED Then Gaddafi & other survivors were disarmed, beaten up & executed by militia
