The president is an open racist and bigot. Everyone who votes for him this November is complicit in this racism and bigotry. No excuses. No exceptions.

  13. Remember last February when Netanyahu caused a stir when embracing Otzma Yehudit, a party whose members are proud followers of the late Meir Kahan, the creator of the JDL, a "terrorist" group? Now the leader of the JDL wants to come to NYC to "confront" Black leaders there...

Last summer, I started to dig into court cases of people who were imprisoned on charges. I came across Imran Rabbani, a young man in Flushing. He let me spend several days with him in NYC. Here's the story:

  15. Niall Ferguson thinks he just came up with a cool, original take when he is actually just plagiarizing (in a really dumbed-down, a-historical way) Noam Chomsky (eg: There was never anything "lofty" about decades of US coups, support for death squads, etc...)

  16. (An American news anchor, baffled by this answer): "But could you please clarify your position here: Are you with us, or with the terrorists?"

  17. Basically, for Netanyahu: Being critical of Israeli policies & pro-Palestinian makes you an anti-semite BUT Being a bigot & an anti-semite (Viktor Orban, Geert Wilders...) does NOT make you an anti-semite AS LONG AS you defend anti-Palestinian positions

  18. For Israel, cozying up to bigots & anti-semites DOES pay up (Viktor Orban, Hungary's PM, is very clearly a bigot, has repeatedly condoned anti-semitism, used anti-semitic tropes himself, etc...)

Four-year public university tuition in 1965 cost $261 a year. Today, it is $10,440 a year. Taxpayers paid for a trillion-dollar bailout to benefit the crooks on Wall Street. I think we can afford to make public colleges tuition free and cancel all student debt.
