Was about to buy this yesterday when it went out of stock.
Since then I've been constantly refreshing the purchase page to see if they added any more
Three times since then I refreshed and they had added a little extra, making nebula blue available to buy! But each time it sold out so quickly that I couldn't get my order in. Except for about 2h ago when I was randomly refreshing the page and they had more! Placed an order ASAP and it went through, got my confirmation email and all :)
So keep refreshing that page if blue is what you're after!

I doubt the 12gb ram version is going to come back on their normal devices, I believe it's going to be for limited edition devices such as McLaren edition, and they made the nebula blue in an 8gb ram version as well ( the original post only mentioned the color not the ram size). No telling if the blue will come back into stock but I'm sure they will keep at least one of the 3 color ways until the 8 is released, as we now have the 7/7pro/7t/7tpro and they are still selling the 6t.

Do you think having the 12 GB version vs the 8 GB version makes a big difference? I want the 12 GB version only because I currently have the 5T which already has 8 GB of RAM. Doesn't seem like an improvement to buy the OnePlus 7 Pro 8 GB other than having a fancier screen.

well, I was waffling on this or the Note 10 Plus. I guess this may have made my decision.

Well considering they are still selling the 6t on their website I'm sure they will keep stock of the 7 pro until the 8 is released.

I don't think this will be the case. I chatted with OnePlus customer support asking if they had the 12 GB ram version of the 7 Pro available for sale with or without the discount. They stated they are no longer currently selling the 12 GB version and to keep an eye out for future announcements.

My little brother has been saving up for a 7t for months after seeing me buy my 6t, and today he finally had enough, when we went to the website we found a pleasant surprise, the 7 pro had a discount, and for his usecase, mostly media consumption, the larger and higher resolution display along with the bigger battery, not to mention the now cheaper price, makes this phone a much better buy for him. I'm really happy for him and proud of him for saving so well.

I'm using "Navigation gestures (bottom)". Not sure if this is an issue with the other gesture or fixed options.
This only happens when I'm rapidly changing between apps. Which I rarely do, but there are times that I know exactly what I need from the last app and I can grab it very fast. Then I switch back to the other app but now it's on the right instead of the left. This throws me off almost every time and I end up quickly tapping the left app, which is the wrong one. Very annoying.
If I'm quick at what I'm doing, and already know the exact steps I need to do, then it's like I either have to guess which side the app will be on once I gesture swipe, or I have to force myself to slow down in order to make sure the app is to the left.
Just make the app show on the left at all times instead of this guessing game.

Before this post, I wanna make it clear that I'm not complaining abt the phone, I'm complaining abt Netflix.
I just discovered 4k HDR content on YouTube and with the resolution override feature on YouTube Vanced, you can fill the entire screen and still be watching in the highest resolution this phone is capable of. It's beautiful, and with the Dolby Atmos surround sound it rlly is an experience.
An experience that I should be able to feel while watching an actual movie or show on Netflix... instead of only on sample YouTube videos. It kinda sucks and if you look in the settings for netflix, the maximum resolution for this phone is locked at "Full HD". I mean at least we get HDR but c'mon those YouTube videos were beautiful, why can't I have that with an actual movie.
TL;DR Netflix is locked at 1080p on a phone with a much better screen. I'm not happy abt it.
Edit: Lots of people have been saying you can't tell the difference between 1080p and the higher res options on this phone but imo it's pretty clear during nature scenes and stuff.

Does anyone else have this problem? Sometimes the screen FPS drops to 20-30 and after locking and opening the screen the issue stops for a while.

Final edit: phone is currently at 78% with 2 hours of screen on time (90hz + QHD forced). Don't know what combination of things fixed it, but the items mentioned in my second edit below definitely did the trick. My battery usage is plateauing now when my phone is not in use instead of a constant drain.
Phone would last for about eight hours of screen on time with my normal use with pie. When I wasn't using it, the battery usage chart would flatline. Battery saver would boost the battery by 6 to 8 hours. It eliminated my anxiety related to running out of juice. Simply awesome. I updated to 10.3 last week. Before I go about restoring my phone back to Pie I need the help of a guru to tell me what else I need to try.
I went into recovery and deleted the system cache. Still happening. I started uninstalling apps. Still happening. I factory reset the phone. Still happening. I deleted Google play services app data and cache. Still happening. Disabled printing services, still happening. Uninstalled Android Wear and everything related to an Android Wear device. Still happening.
The battery graph just shows a constant slope down. Do I need to let it run to zero? What else should I do here besides go office space on it?
Edit: I have disabled ambient display, auto night mode, and made Bluetooth not discoverable by default. I'll report back later.
Second edit:. My battery graph actually flatlined this evening while I wasn't using my phone. No constant drain! It looks like it was one of the three things in my first edit that actually fixed the problem. Will test tomorrow.

Hello,
I've recently been thinking about buying one of those magnetic USB type C charging cables where you just leave the USB type C tip in the phone and the cable can magnetically connect to it
(eg: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07QKDG4HY/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_i_Im3gEbQAVKWEC)
in order to prevent wearing out the phone's charging port and to also protect it from dust, water, etc. But I was just wondering if there were specification requirements the cables would need to have in order to withstand/support warp charging. Does anyone know what specs the cables would need to have? I really don't want to purchase a set for them to burn out after a week of use and unfortunately, I couldn't find the specs of the official cable on the website 😕

The fingerprint sensor icon on lock screen looks kinda stupid.
They should allow customization like just a white circle or sth that fits in instead of a weird blue thing.

Hey! I made a quite comprehensive comparison between the stock 7T Pro camera, the GCam port (7.2.010_Urnyx05-v.2.0 with the Marian_Mi9_v1.xml) and the stock Note 10+ (Exynos) camera. Both devices are on Android 10 with their latest software updates (as of 11th of January 2020).
I found that the 7T Pro is the weakest of the bunch, especially when it comes to reproducing red colors. The GCam port produces the most realistic colors and it changes blows with the Note 10+ when it comes to lighting. The GCam images are a little less bright but have a more pleasing contrast to them.

The following is a list of bugs I've come across ever since I updated the Android version of my OP6T to Android 10.
Google Keyboard doesn't fit to the bottom of the screen when Navigation buttons are set to gestures. The keyboard always appears about 0.7 cm above the bottom of the screen. Area below keyboard is black.I was unaware that this was an intentional change in the app by Google.Occasional drop in frames when scrolling or swiping, even if all apps are closed.
Shelf freezes occasionally. Unable to launch recent apps or scroll when frozen. Have to un-check the option from Home settings and check it again for it to work.
Whatsapp: When Ambient display is on and someone sends a message, it displays the message on the ambient display. However when the same person sends another message, it displays "2 messages" instead of the second message. Idk if this is an issue from Whatsapp or OP but this was never the case before the update.

Hotspot doesn't support 5GHz
Notifications on lock-screen, actions hide themselves on drag down
Colours scheme resets to default (saturated) after watching YouTube HDR video
Auto brightness goes too bright when unlocking
Bluetooth takes longer to connect since update. Up to 60 seconds.
That's all I have come across till now. Please feel free to add more bugs if I missed some so the issues can be resolved.

I kept looking in my settings for something related to this but couldn't find anything. Basically, when I wake up I pick up my phone and after 2-4 seconds notifications start FLOWING in (from various apps, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter etc.). The ones from Snapchat also display "Now" as the moment the notification was received, which is... obviously not what is supposed to happen.
Is there a way to change it so my phone stays "awake" for notifications during sleep?

I usually use Google's gesture without the pill (bar) because it can look really bad in some apps.
I enabled the pill just to see if anything changes and at my great surprise everything is smoother. I experience less animation lag and less overall bug while using my phone (OnePlus 7).
Do you have a similar experience with the pill?
