An explanation of the experimental proceedure that proved that a 'one water, one bleach, one water' syringe cleaning technique would kill HIV.
Boiling syringes can damage the seals and plastic... rinsing with water and bleach will kill viruses and bacteria. Really, you should get a new sterile syringe to use each time.
Doesn't the bleach leave some risidule behind that would be harmful if injected though?
