1/ The allegations made painted me as an “anti-religious” advocate and many of the followers branded me as a child abuser. I advocate for human rights, including people of faith. I protect and respect children and their families. I am good, kind and loving.

2/ My reading to children in drag is no different to dressing up like a fairy and hosting a child’s party. I read stories about families like theirs, about respect, about being yourself and being kind to others.

3/ The Brisbane City Council hires me occasionally to read in drag. The council are extremely thorough in their background checks and recruitment process. I have been approved. I am Blue Card verified, too. The UQ LNP Club have nothing to stand on but hatred.

4/ I am not upset anymore, however I am aware to the extent that homophobia and transphobia exists in Australian society even among young people in university.
