These photos are incredibly frustrating, they're potential extremely significant, but next to impossible to verify their location because the angle of the camera is too high to catch the details needed in the background (like buildings) we'd need to geolocate it.

Even if there was Streetview imagery of the area it's claimed to be taken in we'd still be look to match things like the wear on the curb-stones, which requires good quality reference imagery.

But there are many pictures around the zone where those bricks match, for example in Parand (I tweeted a few locations)

Yeah, it's certainly consistent to the area, which tips the scales in its favour, but it's impossible to say if it's unique, which adds to the frustration.

I don't know if checking the vegetation helps but I guess that's purslane (Persian: khorfé). Some say the concrete irrigation barriers looks like in Ukraine or Russia (pic 2) but according to purslane's distribution there's no purslane there.pic.twitter.com/63jtP79yx6

There's lots of similar looking areas near the crash site, so it's consistent with the area, but not unique to it.

Serious question - does it not seem a bit small?? I'm not sure of the diameter of a Tor missile but that looks no more than maybe 20cms?

They're 235mm wide, so it's the right size.
