Eth address settings should point to token address settings
@michaelfbradley please update the mockups to account for the transferability between token (on-chain) address & ETH address. When the user goes to their wallet's ETH settings, they should see:
- A link/button that brings navigates to your wallet token settings.
- some sort of description like "your Ether address is the same as your on-chain address."
- I think it would also be helpful to explain why they are the same (either in the description or perhaps a tooltip or a 'why?' popover) - e.g. "on-chain tokens run on the Ethereum network and require Ether to send"
- There should also be something in the token settings that mentions the connection as well.

I'd link to get the options of @markeharding and @jotto141 on this one.
(Please read @omadrid's original comment).
If we were to simply use a singular Receiver Address management (contained within Token Settings), it would basically would leave the 'Ethereum' section of the wallet redundant, short of it displaying a wallet balance.
The following page would change where we'd simply hand the user off to the relevant section within token settings.

The following would basically show ETH total, as well as a link to manage receiver address (via token settings)

We can discuss briefly on the design call later today. Let me know if you have concerns, or think I've missed something.

Agree the token settings and the ether settings should point to the same place and we should add a note that says::
“Please note that your OnChain address is the same as your Ether address.”
Does that answer all questions?

@jotto141 @markeharding, thanks. Please see below.
@michaelfbradley I'm a little unclear on what your proposed solution is.
As I understand it, if the token/eth address exists, the user will see this: https://invis.io/KWU1X9IEB2U#/396032639_Wallet-_Ether-_Setup
If they click 'change address', then they will be automatically be redirected to tokens/settings, with the 'tokens' tab selected,
If they haven't set up their token/eth address yet -- are you saying a user who clicks the 'eth' tab on top will automatically/inexplicably be redirected back to
tokens/settings
, (with 'tokens' tab selected), and the only explanation we are going to give them is "Please note that your on-chain address is the same as your Ether address."?Am I understanding this correctly?
To me this seems like a kind of disjointed experience for users who are starting on the 'eth' tab and trying to setup or change their address.
The explanatory sentence also misses an opportunity to educate users, who may have no idea why the on-chain and Ether addresses are the same.
