Reports say Iran is firing dozens of missiles into Iraq, hitting U.S. forces at Al Asad Airbase. Early reports say 20 U.S. troops have died, amid 60+ missile strikes so far. If true, then we are at the precipice of another horrible war in the Middle East.
Some reports say only 6 of the missiles confirmed, another (from Voice of America, so their sources are good) says 30 missiles confirmed & strikes continuing. Reports about # of casualties are all over the place, some higher #s were RTed by some media but it's not clear.

I tweeted this after multiple mainstream media outlets tweeted a/b it, including saying 30 missiles had landed, strikes were continuing, & reports of casualties including fatalities. 2 of the tweets I reacted to appear to have been deleted.
Many outlets report that their sources say no deaths occurred. There are contradicting claims a/b casualties (injuries count as casualties). Number of missiles is reported as low as 6 or as high as several dozen, depending on the media outlet.

The fucking news reporters all over Twitter sharing the info, including WashPost, National, Voice of America, etc. Who told you it's a hoax, the comedian standing in line w/you for the bathroom at a bar?
Mark no one has died, please be careful putting something like that with no confirmation. I have family who are in the military. This conflict has been going on since 1979.
I hope your family are all safe. I posted this after seeing multiple tweets from reporters at mainstream outlets saying unconfirmed #s for casualties & rockets, some outlets say lower & some say higher. I hope it's incorrect, & I've posted multiple updates & links.
I didn't "report" it. I tweeted my reaction after several mainstream media journos reported it. A better use of your time is to tell all the news sites to stop live-update-streams that keep reporting "unconfirmed" info, & many of which have up tweets reporting unconfirmed info.
